David Hopwood, MSet PGCE BA - Director

David is an experiential education specialist and outdoor educator. He holds professional qualifications in youthwork(JNC), teaching (QTLS) and experiential learning and has been teaching outdoor leadership for years. David is an Accredited Practitioner of the Institute of Outdoor Learning (APIOL) and holds Mountain leader and Rock Climbing Instructor awards. He is an Advanced Canoe Coach, Accredited Guide and Leader assessor and paddle sport advisor.

Diane Hopwood - Director

Diane is a youth trainer and workplace educator with a background in vocational training and assessing (education). She has many years of experience in youth development working in challenging behavioural adventure therapy contexts in the UK and in the USA, She has a wealth of experience in the management of behavioural issues.
She is a qualified Mountain Leader, Rock Climbing Instructor and Canoe coach.

Callum Anderson Training Director

Callum has a backround in Youth and Sports Development with adventure as a specialist field, He is our Mountain Training England (MTE) Course Director and supports our team as a trainer&  technical advisor. He is a skilled Mountain & Climbing Instructor, and Winter Mountain leader with many years of experience.

Callum also has a raft of other qualifications in land and water activities. His role as a University Adventure Safety Officer brings a high level of technical expertise to Teesoutdoors.

Mike Macgregor BA, Primary Education Manager 

Mike has a wealth of management experience from his background in the care sector and is a committed, supportive and caring activity leader with amazing group skills. He holds Fd and BA in outdoor leadership, is a Forest School leader He holds a range of other outdoor leadership awards, in Paddlesport and Walking. He also leads on target sports, archery and axes,  bushcraft and journeys.
